Darwin ITC has announced plans to keep all of its IT support based solely within the county.
Based at Sweetlake Business Village in Longden Road, we provide professional IT and communications services to businesses, inclu
ding system supply, installation, support and maintenance.
To enhance our expanding services, we have taken rack space at Telford-based Unitron Systems and Development Ltd, who facilitate on-line services and back-up support for companies both locally and worldwide.
Darwin operation director Mark Wycherley said: “We have had concerns in the past when using a distant support company, with inherent problems due to poor communications and actual location.
“By employing the services of Unitron, literally based just down the road in Telford, we now have local people who we can actually talk to directly and they provide us with full maintenance and support for our hosted servers and systems on a 24-7 basis, which also meets full UK legislation.
“This in turn means cost effective savings, better facilities and a larger product range for all our clients and also provides us with room for expansion in the future.”
