Preparing to take drastic measures… new Chamber member Roy Thomson, of R Thomson Carpentry and Joinery, who was frustrated with the state of his website, before asking fellow Chamber member Darwin ITC of Shrewsbury to come to his rescue.
Roy, who is based in Admaston, Telford, takes up the story: “When I started up my business in January this year, I thought I would save money by doing my own website, but it was just terrible, nothing worked properly and it all seemed so complicated.
“I turned to the experts, Darwin ITC, and showed them what I had achieved, and, once operations director Mark Wycherley had finished laughing at my efforts, he came up with a new direction to create a bright, clear and easy to navigate site.
“It now features real-life examples of my work and services. I simply supplied the information and Darwin ITC produced the design and edited the content and they will now host the site for me.
“I am thrilled with the finished result and can now concentrate on being an expert in my own line of business, knowing that my website and internet marketing is being taken care of.”
Mark added : “We were absolutely delighted to be able to ‘rescue’ Roy from his computer toils and trouble, he is an experienced time-served professional in his own field and we hope that this exciting new website will help his business to prosper.”
